ADELE NASSER ELIAS      November 22, 1921 - December 9, 2018 Our beloved Mother, Adele Elias, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 9, 2018, from natural causes, at Wesleyan Village, Elyria, Ohio. Adele was born and grew up in Cairo, Illinois, one of six children of Charles and Martha Nasser.  Following high school, she had a variety of retail jobs and also enjoyed working for Governor Adlai Stevenson in Springfield, Illinois. Her hobbies and interests included bowling, dancing, and playing cards.  Adele enjoyed meeting people and sharing life experiences. Adele was married to Harry Elias and they had two children. She is the mother of Doris  and Harry Jr. (wife Doretta); grandchildren Sarah, Mark, and Mathew, and great grandmother to Sierra. Services will be private for family members where they will share memories of Adele and celebrate her life. Arrangements were handled by the Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton.
