Alexis Saylor

Alexis Theodora (Gessler) Saylor, age 80 of Columbia Station, Ohio passed away peacefully comforted by Grandson and Granddaughter, on Monday September 30, 2024, at 5:45pm at the Life Care Center of Elyria. She was a wonderful homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

A devoted caretaker during her early years, who later would care for her late husband during his long history with kidney disease. She became the primary breadwinner and a long standing union member through the Avery Dennison Corporation. After her retirement she again became an at home caretaker for youngest daughter. She has many friends and extended family who have shared lots of laughter, memories, and good times.

Alexis is preceded in death by her husband William Saylor, sister Jackie, and youngest daughter Jacqueline Koepke.

She is survived by her oldest daughter Patricia A. Linden. Many grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as, many extended family members.

Friends and family welcome on Saturday, November 9th, 2024, from 12-1pm at the Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton.
