Al gained his wings on Wednesday, July 26,2023 after a short illness at home surrounded by family and friends. He served in the United States Air-force. Husband to Nancy for 61 years. Father to Jeffrey (Darla), Jennifer, Chip (Angie), Andy (Cherie), Brother to Bill (in Texas) and friend to many. Grandpa to his 11 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. Retired from Ford Motor Co. Loved to work, hunt, fish, turkey shoot, garden, farm, and spend time with his family. Proceeded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, 3 sisters, and grandson Zak. In lieu of flowers, may make contributions to Crossroads Hospice and Palliative Care.
Friends will be received Tuesday, August 1, 2023 from 10 a.m until the time of 11 a.m. service at Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St
Grafton, OH  44044. Burial will be followed at Butternut Ridge Cemetery with an honor of his military service.
