Alma A. Wolf

Alma A. Wolf ( nee Brauer ) age 99 of Elyria passed away at home on Sunday November 25, 2018 following a short illness. She was born January 24, 1919 in Cleveland and was a graduate of John Hay High School.Alma had various jobs including the Forum Restaurant and General Electric. On September 15, 1945 she married Walter H. wolf and in 1948 the two of them owned and operated the Oz-Walt's Food Market in North Eaton long with Ozzie & Elenora Brauer. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Elyria. alma enjoyed life and was a joy to be around and was an artist. Survivors include her sister-in-law Geraldine Brauer ( Art-deceased) of Elyria, nieces Cheryl ( Pete) Daellenbach of Michigan , Audrey Loeser of Avon Lake and Diane ( Michael ) Farrow of Hiram. Survivors also include many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter in 1998, parents Gustaf & Augusta ( nee Bucknot ) Brauer, brothers Oswald in 1984 and Arthur in 2003. In honoring her wishes, there will be no visitation or services. Burial will be in the Lutheran  Memorial Gardens, Hinckley. Arrangements were handled by the Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton.
