Tony Meyer, 76 of Grafton Township passed away on June 28 at his home.

Born to the late Walter "Whitey" Meyer and Inez Meyer nee Hunter on August 4, 1947, Tony grew up in the Grafton Township area. 

From 1965-1969 Tony served his country in the Marine Corp doing two tours in Vietnam. Upon his return, he married Karen Gullett in September of 1970. They had one son. Tony and Karen were married for 44 years and settled in Wellington, later moving back to his childhood home in Grafton township. 

Tony was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting, trapping and fishing and spent his healthy years doing those things with his friends, his son and grandson.

Tony is survived by his son, Brent Meyer (Brandy), grandson Gavin Meyer, his grandaughter Jaylin Meyer, who was his pride and joy and a great granddaughter, Billie Blu who he just got to meet and fall in love with, his brothers Charles Meyer of Vermilion, Tim Meyer (Carol) of Denham Springs, LA and his sister Audrey Kidney (Rick) of Hodgenville KY. He was preceeded in death by his parents Walter and Inez Meyer, his wife, Karen and his grandson Gage.  

 . A graveside service will be held on July 2 at 11:00 at Belden Cemetery, State Route 303 Grafton.
