Barbara G. (Wilczak) Beriswill

Barbara G. Beriswill, age 88 of Grafton passed away Wednesday September 10, 2025 in the Keystone Pointe Nursing and Rehab Center following a brief illness. She was born June 8, 1937 in Elyria and had lived in Grafton and Grafton Township all her life. She was in the last graduating class of 1955 from Grafton High School. She was employed at Grafton Savings & Banking as a bookkeeper. Along with her husband Daniel, she helped establish Beriswill Insurance Agency in 1960. She enjoyed ironing, baking and cleaning. Barbara was a member of the Our Lady Queen of Peace her entire life and was a member of the Altar & Rosary Society, Farm Bureau, and the Belden School PTA. She is survived by her daughters Denise ( Russell ) Breyley of Wellington, Kathleen ( Brian ) Tondra of Medina, sons Scott  ( Kimberly ) of Grafton and Brian Beriswill of Litchfield. Survivors also include 7 grandchildren Jason (Jessica ) Breyley, Rob ( Heidi ) Breyley, Daniel Beriswill, Jenna ( Alexander ) Reno, Brandon Emily & Zachary Tondra. and 4 great granddaughters Tessa, Josephine, Elizabeth & Brielle Breyley. She was preceded in death by her husband Daniel in 1994, son Thomas, grandson Jacob Breyley, sister Frona Massey and by her parents Fron & Kathryn Wilczak. Visitation will be held on Friday September 12, 2025 from 5 to 8 PM in the Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton. Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday September 13, 2025 at 10 AM in the Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church 708 Erie St. Grafton with Father John P. Seabold officiating. You are welcome to meet us at the funeral home at 9:30 am prior to the procession to the church. Burial will be in St. Martin of Tours Catholic Cemetery, Valley City. The family suggests that memorial donations be made to donor's choice or the Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church.
