Barbara Zemgulis

BARBARA ANN ZEMGULIS (nee DOZIER), age 79, of Lagrange, Ohio, passed away on October 23, 2024.

Loving wife of 54 years to Francis Justin; Mother of Marcella Werner (Michael), and the late Joseph A.; former mother-in-law of Lori; beloved grandmother of Zach and Kayla; daughter of Marshall & Ella (nee Dozier) (both deceased); beloved sister to Elsie Ray (deceased), Dorthy Reynolds (Jerry), Alice Baughman (Dael) (deceased), Jack (deceased); Daughter-in-law to Genevieve and Frank Zemgulis (both deceased); Sister-in-law to Bonnie DeChant (Doug) (deceased), Rita Clouse (deceased) (Will)

Born on November 20, 1944, Barbara was a loving and devoted woman, known for her cooking, crochet talent and passion for dogs. She enjoyed cooking for her family and was known for her chicken paprikash, a family favorite. She poured her heart into everything she did and found joy in making gifts for her loved ones. When she wasn’t busy cooking and crafting, she enjoyed fishing and taking trips to Amish country with her husband.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 29th, 2024, at 10:30 AM, followed by a funeral mass at 11:30 AM at Our Lady Queen of Peace on Erie St. in Grafton, Ohio. Barbara will be laid to rest in St Mary’s Cemetery, Grafton, Ohio

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Barbara’s memory can be made to the American Heart Association or the Hospice of the Western Reserve.
