Betty K. Williams

Betty Kathleen Williams (nee Bostick), 88 of North Eaton, Ohio went to be with her Heavenly Father on Dec. 22, 2021, where she rejoined her beloved husband, Dan. Betty was born on April 7, 1933 to Herman and Mattie Bostick (nee Pittman) in Beckley, WV. where she had the good fortune of growing up where her family had lived for generations, and in her heart that was always her true home. Betty was extremely close to her brothers - Ray, Marvin, and Melvin - who preceded her in death. Betty and Dan had a deep bond that came from having both grown up in Beckley, and from learning to love the community of North Eaton. Betty worked for the Lorain County Board of Education until retiring in 1995. She and Dan enjoyed travelling, especially along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Betty loved attending her family reunions and serving as the reunion secretary for many years. Betty was a long-time member of the Elyria Seventh Day Adventist Church. She is survived by her sons Patrick (Jill) and Michael, grandsons Ryan and Tyler as well as step-grandchildren, great grandchildren, friends, family and Janice (Sugar) Bostick, Betty’s life-long friend and sister-in-law. Viewing will be held on Monday, December 27 at Duke Funeral Home (1021 Main Street, Grafton) from 11:00 a.m.until noon, followed by a service and burial at the Butternut Ridge Cemetery (at the intersection of Butternut Ridge and Durkee Roads, North Ridgeville). In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Alzheimer’s Association at alz.org.
