Bruce W. Bergenstein

Bruce W. Bergenstein, age 83 of Grafton Ohio passed away in his home on Sunday April 25, 2021. He was born in Cleveland Ohio on September 1, 1937. Bruce was a lifetime member of the VFW post 3341 and the Amvets post 32. He was a member of the Honor Guard. He was a policeman, fireman, and electrical lineman for the Village of Grafton. He served his country in the Marine Corp. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gun collecting. He was a hero to many, especially to his sister Gloria. He was preceded in death by his wife Donna Bergenstein, father Leonard Olsen, his mother Marie Olive Olsen, and his sister Marie Louise Olsen .He is survived by his beloved cat  Dora, his son Kenneth Bergentein (Karen) of Elyria, son Bryan Bergenstein (Pam) of Amarillo Texas, and his daughter Kathy Bergenstein of Grafton. He is also survived by his grandchildren Grant Bergenstein, Kevin Bergenstein, Kelly Bergenstein, Leslie Alexander, III, Lillian Bergenstein, Crystal Lesle, Andrew Mikoleit and five great-grandchildren., He is also survived by his sister Gloria Ennis (Paul) of Wooster, brother-in-law Bill Wiley of Grafton, and best friend Steve Carpenter of Grafton. Arrangements are being handled by Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton. Per his wishes there will be no services.
