Carlysle Louise (nee Curney) (Wolf) Longwell, 85, daughter of Joseph and Winona Curney {nee Scull) passed away Sunday, April 6, 2025, in Deland, Florida. She was born March 16, 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio. After graduating from Midview High School, Class of 1959, she spent most of the rest of her life living, working, raising children, keeping in touch with family and making a lot of friends in Belden and all areas around Grafton. "Charlie" worked at and retired from Airborne in Elyria.
Carlysle is survived by her forever love, John Longwell, sister Colleen Hoffman, brother Charles Curney, daughter Corinne Wolf, daughter Colleen (James) Birkhimer, son-in-laws Travis Roach and Keith Douglas, grandchildren Alex and Jeremiah Roach, Lia and Sydney Douglas, Melissa Goulart and Nicholas (Jessica) Goulart, nieces Adrienne Aguilar and Carolyn (Vince) Abt, niece Dawn Vaness and nephew Tony Oddo.
She is preceded in death by grandson Trevor Roach, daughter Maxine Roach, nephew Keith Curney and sister-in-law Joan Curney.
A special family thank you to her friend, Viola, for all her caring help and the many ice cream dates I know Mom enjoyed.
Graveside services will be held on Friday June 6, 2025 at 11 AM in the Belden Cemetery, Grafton Township, with Father John Seabold, pastor of the Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, officiating. Refreshments and visiting will be following the service in the Grafton Township Fire Station Community Room.
