Caryl June Reed

Caryl J. Reed, age 86 of Grafton passed away Monday December 11, 2023 following a long illness. She was born June28, 1937 in Cutlips , West Virginia and had lived the last 68 years of her life in Ohio. Caryl retired from Invacare Corporation in the Quality Control Department. She was  a super modified racing fan with her favorite track in Oswego, New York. She also enjoyed football and her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived sons Kirk & Nancy Reed and Craig and Deanna Reed, Survivors also include her 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Reed Sr, son Donald Reed Jr. and by her parents James & Lavoo Hosey, her sister Alice Neely,  and by brothers Dorsey and Bradford Hosey. Visitation will be on Friday December 15, 2023 from 5 to 7 PM in the Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton where funeral services will be held Saturday December 16, 2023 at 11 AM with Pastor David Walker of the Belden United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Butternut Ridge Cemetery, Eaton Township.
