Cecelia T. Rozga

Cecelia Teresa Rozga  (nee Zaleski ), age 98 of Grafton passed away Sunday December 2, 2018 in the Abbewood Assisted Living Center, She was born February 17, 1920 in Elyria and had lived in Grafton after she was married. She was a graduate of Elyria High School and worked as a nurse's aide at Elyria Memorial Hospital and later worked for General Industries in Elyria. She was a member of the Our Lady Queen of Peace Church and it's senior group. Cecelia enjoyed knitting, crocheting, baking cookies and working in her flower beds. She is survived by her children Donald ( Margaret-deceased) Rozga, Carol ( Austin ) Chinn and Patricia ( Gary ) Elek. Survivors also include many grandchildren, great grandchildren , nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years Chester, parents George & Antonia Zaleski, brothers Frank, Adam and Matthew, sisters Jennie Daly and Virginia Parker, her husband's parents John & Mary Rozga, brother -in-laws Walter, John, Joseph and Donald and by sister -in-laws Helen Lennerth and Florence Ladd. Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday December 5, 2018 at 10 AM in the Chapel of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church 708 Erie St. Grafton with Rev. John Seabold, pastor, officiating. Private burial will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery, Grafton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the church building fund or to donor's choice. Arrangements were handled by the Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton.
