Charles M. Blakeslee

Charles "Chuck" M. Blakeslee 82 a long time resident of Eaton Twp. Passed away August 29, 2023 in Osceola, Iowa.

Charles joined the United States Army in 1959. He loved animals of all kinds, especially his horses. Attending antique auctions and collecting them. In the mid 70s he raced at Norwalk Speedway in his 1967 Pontiac GTO called "The Hungry Mother". Where he won many trophies.

He is survived by his daughters

Sheryl Tollett (Scott) and Michelle Yeager. Grandchildren Breanna, Kyler, Micheal and Adrian. Two great grandchildren. Sister Patty Yeckel.

Charles was preceded  in death by his Mother Katherine Yeckel, Father John Molnar, Stepfather Paul Yeckel, Sister Peggy Blakeslee and wife Nancy Blakeslee.

Services were held on September 25,2023 at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery Rittman, Ohio with military honors. The Duke funeral Home handled local arrangements.
