Charles Lynch Obituary

Charles "Charlie" Rudolph Lynch 82, of Medina, Ohio, returned to his heavenly home on May 20th after a brief illness.

Born June 9th, 1938, in Cedarville, West Virginia. Charles graduated from Glenville High School and attended Lorain County Community College where he received a degree in Electrical Engineering. He was a member of the United States Army Artillery division until 1963. Charles and his wife were members of St. Francis Catholic Church in Medina for over 50 years, where he also served in the Knights of Columbus.

Charlie, as he was known by friends and family, enjoyed golfing, camping and carpentry. He was helpful to all those in need, and always had a funny story to share once you got him started.

Charles leaves behind his beloved wife of 60 years Donna, Sister Rose Beall (nee Lynch) of Cedarville, WVA, his 5 children: Son Charles Lynch (Sharon) of Sheffield Lake, Ohio, Son Christopher Lynch of Ft. Myers Beach, Florida, Daughter Cathleen Lynch of Seville, Ohio, Son Michael Lynch of Cedarville, WVA and Daughter Patricia Van Leeuwen (Mark) of Fowlerville, Michigan; he was the grandfather of 15 and great-grandfather of 17.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Norval and Grace Lynch, and brothers, Ralph Griffith, Jack Lynch, and Norville "Fuzz" Lynch.

Charles will be buried in the Lynch Family Cemetery in West Virginia. A celebration of Charlie's life will be held on Thursday ,June 24, 2021 from 5-8 PM at the Grafton Community Center off Novak Rd.
