Clifford V. Cathey

Clifford V. Cathey, 72, a long time resident of Grafton passed away surrounded by his family on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at UH Elyria Medical Center. He was born in Elyria in 1953. Clifford worked for Mars Trucking for 20 years before retiring. He was a member of Our Lady Queen of Piece in Grafton. Clifford enjoyed woodworking, building lighthouses, crafts, and consuming knowledge, especially about space and the weather. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Patricia; seven children, Sarah (Carlos), Joshua, Jess (Sandy), Clifford Jr., Sean (Brittany), Daniel (Emila), and Meg (Tom); 24 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; his sister Kathleen (Daniel); his brother, Michael; and many nieces and nephews. Clifford was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Virginia; and five siblings, Patrick, Patricia, Carol, Iva “Sandy”, and Pamela; and his sister-in-law, Barb. The family welcomes friends to join them for a celebration of life gathering on Monday, April 20, 2026, at 5pm, at the Twin Lakes Homes Community Center (first building on the left),  42660 Albrecht Rd., Elyria, Ohio 44035.
