Conrada B. Pijor

Conrada B. Pijor, age 92 of Grafton passed away Saturday March 18, 2023 in the Keystone Pointe Nursing & Rehab Center. She was born December 29, 1930 in Berea and was a 1948 graduate of Elyria High School where she was the class valedictorian. She also attended WICS Business College and Lorain County Community College and worked as a legal secretary for over 20 years. Connie joined Midland Title in Elyria and worked there until her retirement in 1993 as secretary and Assistant to the Manager . She had also worked in the Grafton Income Tax office. Connie served as a Eucharistic Minister at the Assumption Church, in Grafton. She is survived by children  Stan Pijor, Theresa Zeise ( Steve ), Andy Pijor ( Linda ), Tom Pijor ( Diane ), and Margie Maloy ( Bill ). Survivors also include 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband  Henry "Hank " Pijor in 1966 whom she married  June 10, 1950, her parents Julia & Dave Bednarz, , sister and brother in law Joe & Sylvia Wirkner, and daughter in law Christine Pijor. Friends may call in the Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton on Wednesday March 22, 2023 from 4 to 6 PM. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday March 23, 2023 in the Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church 708 Erie St. Grafton at 11 AM with Father John Seabold, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Grafton. In Lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to New Life Hospice 3500 Kolbe Rd. Lorain Ohio, 44053.
