David Ray Gallaher

David Ray Gallaher Sr. passed away June 26th from a long hard fought battle. He was born on August 10th 1976 in Elyria, where he would spend most of his life living. David graduated high school from Elyria West, went on to do factory work as a lifelong career. 

David enjoyed cars in every way and spent a lot of time in the garage surrounded by family and friends. Music was also a big part of his life, teaching many people what good music was! David was one of the toughest men you’d ever meet, but at the same time was the first to offer a helping hand. 

David is survived by his wife Mary Gallaher, daughter Korey Lee, son David Jr. and his grandson Kaleb Lee. He also leaves behind his sisters Pam and Donna, nieces Sierra and Madalyn, nephew Dakota, and a couple of Good ol’ Boys who he always seemed to be causing trouble with. 

He will be together again with is mother and father Don and Darlene Gallaher, his sister Patty, and many other family and friends who have passed. 

David was an amazing Dad, Husband, “Hoss”, “Bubby”, Son, and Friend. David was always quick with a joke to make you smile, and will forever be missed by everyone whose life he touched. 

Arrangements have been made for a graveside burial ceremony July 14th at 10 am at Rest Haven  Memory Gardens , Avon.
