David Holloway

David Daniel Holloway, age 85 of LaGrange passed away Monday September 21, 2020 in the UH Elyria Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. He was born September 14, 1935 in Chattanooga, Tennessee and had lived in the LaGrange area since the 1950's. He was an over the road truck driver for over 40 years, earning many safety awards and had earned his million miles award as well. David is survived by his wife of 64 years Dorothy ( nee Howard ), son Daniel ( Kay ) Holloway of Virginia, daughters Debra ( Rocco ) DelSesto of Georgia, Denise ( Phillip ) Gidich of Maryland and Daphne ( David ) Pummell of Elyria. Survivors also include 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren,  sister Jeanine ( Terry ) Phillips of Tennessee, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents Benton & Rosa Holloway and by brothers William Holloway and Joel Holloway. Due to the Covid 19 crisis, services will be private. Burial will be in River Road Cemetery, LaGrange Township.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the LaGrange Fire Fighters Association at P.O. Box 463 LaGrange, Ohio 44050. Arrangements are being handled by the Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton.
