David L. Rohan

David Leo Rohan 58 of Bellevue, Iowa formerly of Elyria, Ohio, passed away on Sunday June 9, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family. Dave (Dillinger) was born July 29, 1960 in Akron, Ohio, the son of Frank William and Elsie Louise (Konsesky) Rohan. He started his career as a truck driver in the 80’s along with driving hobby stock cars on dirt tracks. Even after he retired he could not go past the Iowa 80 Truck stop without stopping. Dave enjoyed watching Gun Smoke, NASCAR, fishing, dune buggys, the band KISS and most of all teasing his grandchildren.

Survivors include his daughters Amy Rohan (Tristan Sprout) and Amanda Rohan of Bellevue, sisters Tammy (Tim) Westbrook, Elyria, Marsha (Don) Minney, LaGrange and a brother Mark Rohan, Knoxville, TN; 5 grandchildren ,Ex-wife and best friend Georgia and multiple nieces and nephews.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents, fiancé Erin and 2 daughters. Friends may call in the Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton on Saturday June 15, 2019 from 10 Am until 12 Noon. Services will be held immediately afterwards at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help with final expenses.
