On Sunday March 5,2023 Donovan Ray Gallaher 80 went to find Jesus to see his wife of 50 years Pamela Darlene, and his daughter Patty Lee. A man with a deep love for God and family ,loved reading westerns and collecting old cars. He loved a sip of good bourbon and was a Pittsburgh Steeler's fan - but that's o.k. we won't hold it against him (wink wink).He is survived by his children Pamela Sue (Michael) Whyel, Donna Lyn (Michael) Herschler, and David Ray (Mary).Grandchildren Korey, Sierra, Dakota, David Jr. and Madalyn, and a great grandson Kaleb .Sisters Carolyn and Donna, and brothers Kenny and Bobby .He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years Pamela Darlene (Canter), daughter Patty Lee, Parents Beno and Lynna, In-laws Elijah and Lucille Canter, brothers and sisters Janice, Eric, Mike, Bob, Shiela, Junita, Paul, Johny, Irene, Louise and Gene.The family wishes to send a sincere THANK YOU to the staff at University hospital, Cleveland Ohio. You treated our Dad and family with kindness, dignity and respect, we cannot thank you enough. There will be no services at this time. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by the Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton.
