Duane Stonestreet “Big D”

Duane passed away April 22,2022 in Welcome nursing home after a long illness. He was born on Tuesday January 19th, 1965, in Elyria and lived in the Elyria/Grafton area all his life

He graduated in 1983 from Midview High School and Ohio Business School as a medical assistant. Duane was also an accomplished chef, cooking for numerous gatherings, parties and caterings.

Duane was an avid outdoorsman enjoyed trap shooting, hunting, fishing, and working in his garden.

He is survived by his brother Scott Stonestreet of Elyria and his nieces Andrea Drochak of Elyria, Amber Jade Stonestreet of Elyria, Molly Stonestreet of Elyria, And Emily Nicole Stonestreet of Elyria

He was preceded in death by his Grandfather Robert Jackson Powell, Grandmother Mildred Powell,

Father Hubert C (Butch) Stonestreet, Mother Jacqueline Ann Weber, Brother Robert J Stonestreet

A celebration of life will be held at the Waverly Hunt Club May 15th, 2022, from 1p.m. to 4p.m.
