Earl L. Squire

Earl L. Squire, age 87 of Spencer passed away on Tuesday January 20, 2026, surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Earl was born January 23, 1938 in Elyria to Lester & Mildred Squire. He was a lifelong resident and farmer in LaGrange and Spencer. Earl also worked 11 Years for Carlisle Township.

He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years Rose (nee Duke)  and by six children, William ( Linda ), Elaine Spoerndle, Dwight ( Sandy ), Martin ( Arlene ), Lee ( Kelly ),Carl ( Brooke) and by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Gilbert. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Gerald and by son in law Steve Spoerndle.

Visitation will be held on Friday January 23, 2026 from 11 AM until services at 1 PM in the Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton. Burial will be in Nesbett Cemetery, Grafton Township.
