Elizabeth " Betty " Lamorgese

Elizabeth “Betty” Marie Harmon LaMorgese – maiden name Emmendorfer – Born July 8th, 1948 passed away November 16, 2019 in her Grafton, Ohio home surrounded by her family.  Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband Larry Wayne LaMorgese (6-4-41 – 4-28-12), her Son Gregory Vincent Harmon (5-23-71 – 1-11-19), her parents Evelyn Bertha (Bertrand) Emmendorfer (2-16-23 – 6-5-02) and Vincent Earl Emmendorfer (5-4-21 – 2-7-68).

She leaves behind Brother Vincent “Bud” Earl Emmendorfer, Jr. (Sheila Rock) Sisters Joann Marie Grosberg (Richard), Nancy Marie Randazzo (Vincent).  Her Daughter Kelly Marie Harmon and Son Donald Lee Harmon, Jr. (Theresa), her Daughter Laurie Ann LaMorgese Baird.  Her 21 Grandchildren and many Great-Grandchildren and many many friends.

Betty was born in Detroit, Michigan and loved visiting her family who still reside there.  She was an amazing women, she beat the odds over and over again not only in her health but playing the lottery, entering raffles, going to the casino she was always amazing people.  She lived her life the way she choose, she and her late husband were the owners of a country western bar “The Razorback Lounge” located on Cleveland’s Westside.   Before owning the Razorback she worked at the Silverthorne Restaurant located in the Westlake Hotel in Rocky River, OH.  After closing the Razorback she went to work at Sam’s Wholesale club a Demo person, a job that allowed her to meet new people daily. 

Services will be at Duke Funeral Home located at 1021 Main Street, Grafton, OH 44044.  Visitation will be Wednesday, November 20th, 2019 from 2 pm – 4 pm and 7 pm – 9 pm.  A small service will be held Thursday, November 21, 2019 at 11 am.  A small gathering is planned for her details will be announced at her service.  In lieu of flowers please donate to the Heartland Memorial Fund, 4807 Rockside Road, Suite 110, Independence, Ohio 44131
