Ernest Conrad

 Ernest "POPS" Conrad, 80 of Elyria passed away Monday November 18, 2019 at O'Neill Health Care Center of North Ridgeville following a lengthy illness.
Ernest retired from Ellard Construction in Birmingham, Alabama.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, and grand babies, they were the light of his eyes. Some of his favorite hobbies included hunting, fishing, playing harmonica, singing, writing & playing bluegrass music.            
Ernest is survived by his wife of 34 years Mary Mast- Conrad His children Dennis (Elise), Denise (Garry) Humphries, Rebecca (Curtis) Lee, Timmy, Gary (Jenn)  Ruby (Kevin) Arp. Sister Edith Brown. 10 Grandchildren 18 Great-Grandchildren & a host of nieces and nephews.                              
 Ernest was preceded in death by his parents Doy & Mae Deulley-Conrad. His brothers Earl (twin), Eddie Wayne & Dallas. Sister Ruth Collins. Half brother Harold Burns. Half sisters Betty Burns-Smith & Blanche Burns-Dobbins. Two sons Ernest Edward & Ricky. One grandchild.                            
A celebration of life service will be held in his honor at Ascension Lutheran Church 28081 Lorain Rd. North Olmsted , Oh 44070 on Saturday, December 7th At 3pm. Flowers, if desired, may be sent to the church. Arrangements were handled by Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton.
