Eula D. Seabolt

Eula Donna Seabolt (nee Kidd) of North Eaton, passed away peacefully on October 17th, 2022 at the age of 93.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse “Tom” Thurman Seabolt in 2007. She is survived by her 4 children; Donna Clapper, Nina Broadsword, Fran Kisel (John,) and Kenneth Seabolt (Deeanne.) Additional survivors include 9 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Born on April 10th, 1929, in Cotton Tree, West Virginia, she married her “Sweetie” Tom in 1946 and were married for over 60 years.

The family moved up to Ohio in the early 1950’s where Eula raised her children in North Eaton.

Eula was a long-time member of North Eaton Baptist Church where she taught preschoolers in Sunday School for many years. She also spent time volunteering at the church’s food pantry and clothes closet.

Eula loved to spend time with her large and loving family. She also loved to fish, and cultivated a hearty garden that she would harvest and can food from. She also enjoyed trips to West Virginia to spend time with her many brothers & sisters.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 22nd at Butternut Ridge Cemetery at the corner of Durkee and Butternut Ridge Roads in North Eaton.
