Frank Corica

Frank Corica, age 87 of Elyria passed away in his home on Sunday September  25, 2022 following a long illness.  He was born April 25, 1935 in Colton, West Virginia. Frank was a faithful member of the Lakeview Freewill Baptist Church in Grafton. Frank loved to sing the good old gospel songs, loved reading his Bible and enjoyed church dinners.  He enjoyed traveling to Florida in the winters with his wife Caroline. He is survived by his  daughter, Mary Corica, 5 grandchildren ,10 great grandchildren , 2 great great grandchildren and by his best friend Harvey Blackburn. Survivors also include his sister Virginia ( Bill ) Shomo and by countless friends and neighbors. He never knew a stranger. Frank was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years Caroline Corica in 2021, sons Frank A. Corica, Anthony James Corica, his parents  Carmelo & Mary Corica, 3 brothers and 6 sisters. Friends are welcome to attend a celebration of his life on Thursday October 6, 2022 in the Lakeview Freewill Baptist Church 12025 Durkee Rd. Grafton at  4 PM. Private burial will be in Penfield Cemetery, Penfield Township. Arrangements are being handled by the Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton.
