Hagar 'Junior' Campbell, 74, of Jackson, Tennessee and formerly of Grafton, passed away peacefully with his loving family and friends by his side on Friday, November 18, 2022 in his home following a lengthy illness. He was born December 18, 1947 in Cedarville, West Virginia to the late Hagar and Mary Campbell.
Junior owned a Welding/Blacksmith Shop in Grafton for a number of years before moving onto excavation and dozer work. He was most recently working for Triple H Backhoe in Jackson, Tennessee with boss and friend Shane by his side. Junior was well known for lending a hand when needed to friends and neighbors. He enjoyed vintage cars and hot rods. Junior loved being home working on projects and spending time with his wife Toni, family, and dog Sassy.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Toni; Sons, Rodney (Chrissy) Campbell of Grafton, Chris (Carrie) Lobdell of U.S. Virgin Islands, and daughter Meredith (Dan) Schleichardt of Grand Island Nebraska; Grandchildren, Lukas, Mallory, Gabby, Kevin (Shannon), Amanda (Joe), Isabelle, Allyson, Jonathan, Stephanie, Simon, and Noah; Great grandson Noah Thomas; Brother, Ronnie (Joyce) Campbell and Special friends Penny, Huston, and Rebekah Smith.
Junior was preceded in death by his parents, Hagar and Mary (Isenhart) Campbell; Brother David; Daughter Shelly and Grandson Ryan.
Friends and family will be received on Sunday, November 27, 2022 from 5pm to 7pm at Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main Street, Grafton, Ohio 44044 where services will be held Monday, November 28, 2022 at 11am. Burial will follow in Nesbett Cemetery, Grafton.
