Helen Gonzalez

   Helen R. Gonzalez (Simmons), 74, of LaGrange, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 11, 2024 peacefully at home. She was born April 4, 1949 in Webster Springs, West Virginia. 

    Helen retired from Allen Memorial Hospital after working there for 37 years as an LPN. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, and watching cooking shows. She loved shopping for new purses and collecting trinkets. 

    Survivors include her daughter Michele Stump (Clay) of LaGrange; sister Barbara Reed of Grafton; grandchildren Joshua Stump (Brooke) of Parma, Jacob Stump of LaGrange, Jessica Stump of Lagrange and great-granddaughter Luna Stump.

    Helen was proceeded in death by her parents Harlan Simmons in 1987 and Jackie Brown (Simmons) in 2022. 

    Private graveside services were held at River Road Cemetery in Lagrange. Arrangements were handled by the Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton.
