James W. Carpenter

James W. Carpenter, age 58 of Grafton passed away Monday August 5, 2024 following a long illness. Jimmy was born March 12, 1966 in, Elyria and had worked for National Car-Mart for 20 years where he bought and sold cars. He enjoyed riding his Harley and loved his family and friends more than anything. He is survived by his mother Brenda Roberts, his sister Jill Gallogly, daughter Ashley Carpenter, and by his son Nicholas Carpenter. Survivors also include his nephews Jeffrey Carpenter and Chad Mason , nieces Madison Gallogly and Samantha Williams, his aunt Barbara Hill , many cousins and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his brother Jeffery Carpenter. Visitation will be held on Wednesday August 14, 2024 from 10 AM until 1 PM in the Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton with a graveside service following at Butternut Ridge Cemetery, Eaton Township.
