James L. Wilson

James "Jimmi" Lawrence Wilson, 67, a lifelong resident of Eaton Township , passed away at home on August 15, 2023 after a long illness.

  He was born on November 30,1955 to the late George and Eileen "Mac"(Nixon) Wilson.he was a Navy veteran and retired from YRC Trucking Company in 2015.

  He enjoyed fishing with his "like a brother" Mark Hewitt and friends, working in his garden and spending time with his family, unless they came during Wheel of Fortune or the Price is Right. He even got to attend a showing of the Price is Right with his daughter-in-law.

  He is lovingly survived by his wife of 46 years Sherry (Houston) daughter, Danielle son Adam (Stephanie), grandchildren, Lamar (Courtney, Jarel (Nalini), Jordan (Karli), Amari Horton and Honey Wilson. He also has three great grandchildren, Carter, Carson and Braxton. Jimmi is also survived by his sister Kathy(Buttons) brother George (Liliana) brother-in-law Randy(Cheryl) and David Houston. and by nieces and nephews and his two dog Lacey and Dodger.

  He was precedes in death by his parents, son Cody, and nephew Korbin.

  Per Jimmi's wishes, there will be no services. We will have a Memorial Service at a later date .A special thank you to Cleveland Clinic Hospice, our out of state families in West Virginia, Michigan and our friends and family here at home for all your love and support.
