Jean Ann Day

Jean Ann Day passed away peacefully on October 2, 2020 in her home in Grafton, Ohio.　 Born April 6, 1931 in Cleveland, Ohio in Euclid Beach Park to Archie Weber and Ethyl (Holtz) Weber.　 She graduated from Villa Angela High School in 1949.　 She moved to Elyria, Ohio after marrying George Muzick in 1950 who she met when she worked at Neisner’s.　 Jean met her second husband Harry while working at Electro-Alloy’s. She was a kind, loving person; a mother figure to many.　 She loved to play golf with Harry, and she helped develop and run Harry’s dream of having a driving range on their property as well as a small store. She worked at Pinebrook Golf Course, and at Worthington Ball in later years.

She is predeceased by George Muzick and Harry Day, Elizabeth Day, step-daughter and by her siblings, William Weber, Robert Weber, Harriet (Sis) (Weber) Dressler, Thomas Weber, and Richard Weber.　 She leaves behind her brother James Weber (Theresa (Tess)), her children Theresa (Terra) Muzick, Lise Day (Derek) and Kathleen Garber (Mark); her step-children Thelma Drake (Ted), Harry (Pat) Day (Lorraine), Doris Gushue (Kirian), 16 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Harry Day was waiting to take her hand and dance her to her heavenly home.

A visitation will be held Wednesday October 7th from 2:00 – 4:00 at Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main Street, Grafton, Ohio 44044 with a short service immediately following the visitation.
