Jeffery N. Nichols

Jeffery Neal Nichols, 66, of Wellington died Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at home surrounded by family. He had fought a courageous battle with cancer. He was born March 22, 1959 at Allen Memorial Hospital in Oberlin, Ohio to Richard Nichols and late Ila Mae Nichols.

For 37 years, Jeffery was a truck driver for R&L Carriers. Jeffery loved to spend time with family and friends. He enjoyed grilling out, fishing, hunting, watching sports and riding his Harley.

Survivors include his loving girlfriend, Darla Sisinger, of Ashland, children, Nicole (Danny) Wright, of Wellington and Jeffery Nichols Jr., of Brighton, 3 grandchildren, Alicia (Max) Carevic, of LaGrange, Lexi (Michael) Knapp of Wellington and Jake Leiby of Brighton, 3 great grandchild, Cameron, Alaina and Marley, siblings, Richard Nichols Jr., of New London, Dale (Jewel) Nichols of Brighton, Linda (Delmar) Birchfield, of Wellington and Todd (Melinda) Nichols, of Franklin PA and many nieces and nephews.

Jeffery was preceded in death by his mother, Ila Mae Nichols.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
