Jesse Conrad

Jesse Conrad, age 86 of Grafton passed away in his home Tuesday September 13, 2022 following a brief illness. He was  born January 30, 1936 in Perkins, West Virginia. Jesse was a 1954 graduate of Normantown High School, and a US Army veterran serving in France.. He was an owner\operator truck driver until his retirement in 1998. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Elyria where he was active in many programs.  His love of trucks and cars continued as a a hobby as he loved attending truck and car shows.. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Wilda Dean ( Miller ), children Tim ( Barb ) Conrad of Grafton and Rebecca Burnstein of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Survivors also include 7 grandchildren, sisters Pauline Conger, Jaki Pearce both of Elyria and many nieces, nephews and a host of car and truck buddies. He was preceded in death by his parents Roy & Tacie Conrad, brothers Carl Conrad, Lee Conrad, Glen Conrad, Paul Conrad and his twin sister  " Jo" Mohr. Friends may call in the Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton on Friday September 16, 2022 from 11 AM until services at 1 PM with Pastor David Burman of the First Baptist Church of Elyria, officiating. Burial will be in Butternut Ridge Cemetery, Eaton Township. .
