Joanne E. Willbond

Joanne E. Willbond, age 93 of Elyria passed  away Monday October 19, 2020 in the Wesleyan Village following a long illness. She was born June 21, 1927 in Elyria and was a 1945 graduate of Elyria High School. Joanne was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Elyria. She is survived  by her son Patrick ( Teresa) Willbond, son-in-law Jack Plas, grandchildren Brittany ( Adam ) Peters, Brandon ( Emily ) Plas and by two great grandchildren Cash and Charlotte. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert , whom she married in 1946, daughter Michele Plas, parents John & Ardelle Patrick and by an infant sister. In keeping with her wishes, all services will be private with Pastor Kent Joy of the First United Methodist Church in Elyria  officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the church at 312 3rd Street Elyria, Ohio 44035.
