Joshua W. Cox

Joshua Wayne Cox, age 39 of Elyria passed away unexpectedly on the morning of July 29, 2021. Joshua loved cooking, spending time  with family, dancing, singing and was always the life of the party. He loved watching old movies and listening to music. Joshua attended Elyria High School. He was a kind and loving father, brother and son. He loved his friends and family with agape love. He is survived by his mother Donna Greiner, fiancee  Amanda Halitzka, children Olyvia Cox, Joshua Sullivan, Avery Walls, Kaitlyn Owens, Kyle Parsells, Jackson Halitzka, Samuel Halitzka and grandson Ezekiel Owens. Survivors also include brothers Stephen Greiner, Alex Cox, Jeff Kent Jr.,Nathan Rowell and by sister Hanna Cox, grandmothers Shirley Greiner, Eleanor Daniels and by pets Sodie, Fritz,Regina and June .He was preceded in death by his father Nathan Cox, cousin Samuel Cox, uncles Steve Cox and Phillip Cox and by grandfathers Albert Greiner and Frank Cox. Friends may call in the Duke Funeral Home on Tuesday August3, 2021 from 5 -7 PM. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday August 4, 2021at 10 AM in the funeral home. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
