Karen L. Philo

Karen L. Philo, age 71 of Elyria passed away Saturday March 14, 2020  at the Wesleyan Village in Elyria. Karen ( also know as Gramcracker to her family ) was born December 17, 1948 in Elyria and was a life long resident. She was employed at Airborne where she proudly retired from. She was an avid bird watcher and enjoyed baking for her family. She was known for her green thumb and the love she had for her family.  Mrs.Philo is survived by her beloved daughter Lynne Greiner ( Nee Mitchell ), her son Donald ( JoEllen) Mitchell Jr, sisters Pat Stutler, Barbara Delgado and by her brother Dick Keiper. Survivors also include grandchildren and great grandchildren Justin, Jacob, Zachery, Garrett, Cayleigh, Aubrey and Natalie. She was preceded in death by her husband Scott Philo, and by her parents Carl Keiper & Beatrice Kucharek ( nee Cook ). Friends may call in the Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton on Tuesday March 17, 2020 from 6-8 PM. She will be buried with her mother in St. Mary's Cemetery, Elyria at a later date.
