Katherine "Kat" Ann Brietenbach, 53 passed away April 24th, 2023, peacefully in her home. She was born on March 2nd, 1970 in Cleveland, OH to Mr. William R. Brietenbach and Barbara A. (Helen-Jackson-Nimick) Brietenbach. Kat always had love in her heart for any kind of animal or critter from, birds to turtles, to dogs and even baby deers. She would do what she could to rescue them or find rescue homes. You could see Kat's true love of life when she was being her being her absolute self. The joy in her eyes and the smile on her face was priceless. She loved to live life wild and care free, dance, rock out at concerts, hang back around the fire, and joke around. You could definitely say she had a gentle soul, yet a larger than life personality. Kat grew up bring a daddies girl and I know she always will be. She became a grandmother herself to first, Forrest, Dominic then Travis. There is no words to describe how much the boys meant to her and the love she had for them.
She was survived by her father, William R. Brietenbach, her children Heather (Darren) Shoemaker, Heath (Katie) Shoemaker and her youngest baby girl Samantha (David)
Shoemaker
Along with her grandsons, Forrest and Travis Shoemaker, and Dominic Henke.
Her brother Ralph C. Jennings, sisters, Rebecca T. Nester (Jennings) Patricia A. Jennings and Pamela A. Adkins (Jennings) with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
