Kimberly Dobbins Obituary

Kimberly Dawn Dobbins (nee Morgan), 61 of Elyria, passed away peacefully comforted by her husband and daughter, on Saturday September 21, 2024, at Keystone Pointe, LaGrange.

She was born to her parents, William and Freda (nee Weaver) Morgan on January 24, 1963, in Cleveland, Ohio. They resided in Cleveland for a few years until settling in North Eaton.

Kimberly was a homemaker, she enjoyed spending time with her family, going to the grandchildren’s events, the company of her dogs, and crocheting. She was very passionate about crocheting, finding solace and extreme creativity, often sharing her creations with family and friends. She had a special fondness for squirrels, finding delight in their antics and simple pleasures in life.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 15 years, James Dobbins, her daughter Amber (Jerry) Dobbins, cherished grandchildren Hailey, Jerry Jr., Abby, and Tyler Dobbins, all of Elyria; her brother Gary (Kay) Morgan of North Ridgeville, and her beloved dogs Theo, Anastasiya, and Memphis who brought her joy, love, and companionship.

She was preceded in death by her parents William and Freda Morgan, her sister Billie Workman (nee Morgan) and her beloved dogs Max and Brady.

The family would like to extend our sincerest thanks to the care teams at Keystone Pointe, UHEMC Emergency Room and UHCMC for their compassionate care during this difficult time.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date and will be announced by the family.
