Obituary
Laura A. Smalley, age 98 of Grafton passed away Saturday December 24, 2022 in the Keystone Pointe Nursing & Rehab Center following a short illness. She was born September 12, 1924 in Gassaway, West Virginia and had been a Grafton resident the majority of her life. She was a graduate of Normantown High School and enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. She was a very humble and quiet spirited soul who will be deeply missed. She is survived by her son Charles ( Robin ) Smalley of Grafton and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles & Grace ( nee Bean ) Hosey and by her sisters Veda and Betty. In honoring her wishes, there will be no visitation or services. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society or to the donor's choice. Arrangements are being handled by the Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton.
