Linda Austin (Forbush), 68, passed away in her home with her family after a long battle with lung disease. Linda grew up in LaGrange, Oh where she graduated from Keystone HS in '71. She had a passion for animals and had raised horses, raccoons, groundhogs, dogs, cats, and birds in her lifetime. She especially loved giraffes.
She started working while still in high school at Chismar's Tropical Fish and went on to LaGrange Electrical Assemblies, Medina Meat Packing, R.W. Beckett and finally at the LaGrange Post Office from which she retired after 28yrs and was very missed by the community.
The second half of her life was spent in Grafton, Oh where she raised her two children with her husband of 37yrs, Robert.
Linda had Browns season tickets at the old stadium and was a fan through the good and bad. She also enjoyed collecting Hallmark and Jim Shore ornaments.
She is survived by her mother Jean Forbush, her husband Robert, son Michael (Bonnie) and daughter Rebecca (Jared). She will be dearly missed by all. Friends may call in the Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton on Friday May 10, 2019 from 6-8 PM where funeral services will be held Saturday May11, 2019 at 11 AM.
