Linda D. Cottrell

Linda (Crago) Cottrell, 75, of Carlisle Township, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 1, 2019, at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center. Linda was born on November 13, 1943, in Grafton, Ohio.

She retired from Apples Market, Elyria. She was devoted to her family. Her interests included crocheting, reading, touring Ohio’s Amish Country, and visiting casinos.

Linda is survived by her sons, Don (Cheryl) and Darrin, daughter Tammy; brother Bud (Julia) Clanin, sisters Sandra (Jr) McCumbers, and Patty (Dave) Markus. Cherished grandmother to Nicole (Chris), Todd, Jesse (Tiffany), Victor, Daniel, David (Sammy) and Tyler. Dear great-grandmother to Gabe, Gannon, Gwen and Camilla.

She is preceded in death by her husband Claudie, parents Donis Cargo and Garnet (nee Hillard) Clanin, sister Elaine (nee Crago) Ball, and her beloved children, son Thomas Cottrell and daughter Jody (nee Cottrell) Hayes.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 5, 2019, from 5–7 pm at the Duke Funeral Home, 1021 Main St., Grafton, Ohio. Brief visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2019, at 11 am at the funeral home followed by a momentary graveside service with burial at Butternut Ridge Cemetery, at the corner of Butternut Ridge rd. and Durkee Rd. , Eaton twp.
