Lola VanGilder

Lola Sue VanGilder, age 90 of Grafton passed away Sunday October 6, 2024 in the UH Elyria Regional Medical Center following a short illness.

Born in Alexander, W. VA. she married her husband Gene and they moved to Ohio in the 50s settling down in Grafton OH.

She was a loving housewife and mother to her family of five children.

Lola enjoyed listening to the Indians games and family camping trips to reunions in West Virginia.

Survivors include her sons, Randel of Wellington, Mike of Cleveland, Phil (Kathy) of Grafton and daughter Teresa (Jerome) of Lagrange, daughter-in-law Pat,

four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren and sister Pat of Buckhannon W. VA.

She was preceded in death by her husband Gene, daughter Linda, son Gary, her parents, sister Kate, brothers Rich, Bill and Carl.

Visitation will be held at the Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton on Thursday October 10, 2024 from 6 to 8 PM where funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 AM. Burial will be in Eastlawn Memory Gardens in Brunswick, Ohio.
