Manus J. Patton Sr.

 Manus J. Patton Sr., 92, died of natural causes September 7, 2021, at his home in Eaton Township. He was born January 4, 1929, in Fairview, the son of Anthony J (deceased) and Josephine (Weber) Patton (deceased). His wife Irene, daughter Diane, and son Raymond, preceded him in death, passing in 2012, 1972, and 2008 respectively.
He attended Fairview High School. He retired from Ford Motor Company in Walton Hills where he worked as a machinist and Union Representative until he retired.
He enjoyed fishing, camping and in his later years, visiting casinos.
He is survived by his children: Manus Jr., James (wife Patti and son Tim), Patrick (wife Madaline), Linda (husband Paul) Whaley, John (wife Elizabeth) Patton, and numerous Grandchildren and great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at the  at Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton from 4pm to 6pm Sunday, September 12th. The Funeral Mass will be at Saint Martin of Tours Catholic Church 1800 Station Rd. in Valley City Monday, September 13th at 10am. PLEASE meet at the church. Burial will be at Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Grafton.
