Margaret “Peggy” Franks passed away on January 27th, 2025 at her home in Grafton with her loving husband by her side. She was born in Altoona, PA on December 14th, 1941, a week after the attack on Pearl Harbor. She was born with a birth mark of a “V” on her forehead and after doctors examined the birth mark, she was known as the “Victory” baby for winning WWII. On a family trip to Pymatuning Lake State Park, she met her future husband, Donald, of Uniontown PA, just before he was shipped off to Vietnam. After his tour, he returned to marry Peggy on April 28th, 1962. They were blessed with 62 years together and had three children. Lynne Rossi of Florida, Steve (Shirley) Franks of Grafton and Shannon (Gary) Stephan of Medina. Peggy loved working outside, attending church, and spending as much time as possible with her 6 grandchildren. Cole Franks, Rosina and Siana Rossi, Kegan, Mackenzie, & Kali Stephan. Peggy is proof that God exists because he gave us one of his angels to take care of us. We love you mom! . Private burial services will be held for Peggy in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton.
