Marvin Winningham, 60 of Elyria passed away Friday, February 26, 2021 at his home after a short illness. He was born October 2, 1960 in Elyria and was a life-long resident of Lorain County. He attended Keystone High School and graduated in 1979. He enjoyed playing sports in school and has been an avid sports fan his entire life. He retired with 34 years of service from Columbia Gas of Ohio. He also enjoyed cooking, spending time at the ocean, and spoiling his beloved cats.He is survived by his wife, Rebecca ‘Becky’ (nee Thomas); his daughter Abby (Anthony) Earl; his granddaughter Mackenzie Hopkins; sister Kathy (Jim) Clark; brothers Delaine Winningham and David (Mary) Winningham.Marvin was preceded in death by his parents Deward and Violet (nee Myers) Winningham and stepdaughter Theresa Eyring.The family will receive family and friends on Friday, March 5, 2021 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Duke Funeral Home located at 1021 Main Street, Grafton, Ohio. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. A private burial will be held at a later date at River Road Cemetery, LaGrange.In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that donations be made in Marvin’s name to KATS (Keystone Athletic Teams Supporters), P.O.
