Matthew Eric Gardner

Matthew Eric Gardner passed peacefully at home on October 29, 2025, born September 7, 1962. 

He was preceded by his parents Donald M Gardner, Rebecca M Gardner, and his brother David N Gardner. Matthew is survived by his brothers Donald M Gardner Jr. [Anna], Douglas M Gardner [Cheryl], Mark A Gardner [Kathy], sisters Rebecca J Smith [Steven], Marilyn S Cotton [Nick], and many nieces and nephews. Matt enjoyed spending time with family and working at the family business, Indian Hollow Golf course. Matthew loved sports, especially golf, and had a passion for music. 

A private family service will be held at a later date. The family suggests donations in memory of Matthew to Hospice of the Western Reserve or a charity of choice. Arrangements provided by Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton.
