Michael C. Phillips

Devoted father, adoring grandfather and loving husband Michael Clayton Phillips , 65 of Grafton  passed away Monday July 26, 2021 after a brief illness. He was born in Mercer, West Virginia to the late Clayton and  Margaret Phillips. He grew up in Eaton Estates, went to Midview High School and retired in Grafton. Mr. Phillips was a motorcycle enthusiast, United States Army Veteran and worked for Ford Motor Company for 30 plus years. He was preceded in death by his father Clayton Phillips, mother Margaret Phillips, Aunt Frances Wright and brother Russell Phillips. He is survived by his wife Monica Phillips, children Melanie Clark, Michael J. Phillips and Matthew Phillips. Survivors also include his siblings  Youvonne Moen and Ron Phillips, granddaughters Michelle Clark, Jasmine Riddick , Marissa Clark and Mackenzie Clark. Mr. Phillips was loved, cherished and will be missed. Funeral services are private and a memorial service will be announced. Arrangements are being handled by the Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton.
