Nancy K. Frazier

Nancy Katherine Frazier (nee: Standifer), age 78, went home to be with her Lord & savior on April 17, 2025, surrounded by her family at the Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake, Ohio.

She was born February 5, 1947, in Virginia to parents Clayton and Bernice Standifer (nee: Roberts). 

Nancy was a loving and devoted wife to her husband, Charles Frazier, for 58 years until his passing on November 17, 2024.

Beloved mother to her children; Lisa Hyde (Bob), Angela Galloway (Curt) & Laura Carpenter (Ryan).  Proud grandma to Hannah Roth (Zachary), English Hyde, Jackson Carpenter, Olivia Galloway, Logan Galloway (Abigail), Noah Galloway and Hunter Carpenter. Great grandma to Caleb Roth and loyal caregiver to her dog Bandit.  She was a true and caring friend to lifelong friends Shirley Greiner and Linda Cantu, as well as many others.

Nancy was also preceded in death by her parents;  brothers, Arnold and Harold Standifer and grandchildren Elaina Hyde and Michael Galloway.

Nancy was a homemaker for most of her life, focusing her attention on raising her family. She loved the Lord with all her heart and leaned on that faith her whole life through.

She also worked various jobs before her retirement.

Her greatest passion besides her family was gardening.  She loved getting starts from friends and family to root/plant them and then enjoyed watching them grow.  

Nancy was truly a selfless and caring soul, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, unwavering love and compassion that will be cherished by her family and all who knew her. 

“Always loved, never forgotten and forever in our hearts!  Rest easy our sweet Momma, Grandma, Great-Grandma until we see you again.  We love you!!!”

Visitation will be held on Friday April 25, 2025 in the Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton from 11 AM until services at 12 Noon. Burial will be in Laporte Cemetery.

In Lieu of Flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Ames Family Hospice House, Westlake, Ohio.
