Noreen S. (Pasadyn) DeMarco, 77, of LaPorte, passed away peacefully at home after a long illness on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Pasadyn; her mother, Irene (Kurdas) Pasadyn; and her brother, Frank “Skip” Pasadyn. She is survived by her sister, Karen Cassell; her daughter, Paula (Matt) Howard; her son, Darin (Jessica) DeMarco; step-son Brian (Vanessa) DeMarco; step-daughter, Sherri (Dan) Parent. Beloved Grandchildren: Jason Howard, Tyler DeMarco, Zack DeMarco, Lindsey DeMarco, Brianne McHugh, Brandon Parent, Nick Parent and Chris Parent.
Noreen was born on January 18, 1949, in Elyria, Ohio. She was a 1967 graduate of Keystone High School, where she excelled in many sports, participated in cheerleading, and was crowned Homecoming Queen during her Senior year.
Noreen was a devoted mother and grandmother who cherished her family above all else. She had a deep love for the outdoors and could often be found playing an accomplished game of tennis, kayaking, mowing and cutting paths on her properties, gardening, or simply enjoying nature. She brought out the best in people with her warm smile, wonderful laugh, and genuine concern for others. Her strength, courage, grace, and love will be remembered by all who knew her.

Visitation will take place on Saturday March 21, 2026 at the Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 708 Erie Street, Grafton, Ohio 44044 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. immediately followed by a Memorial Mass. The family invites all who attend to join them for lunch immediately following the Memorial Mass in the parish hall to continue to celebrate Noreen’s life.
