Phillip W. Truman

Phillip W. Truman , age 60 of LaGrange passed away Thursday June 10, 2021 at his home following a long illness. He was born October 14, 1960 in Elyria and grew up in LaGrange where he graduated from Keystone High School. Phillip was self employed being the owner/ operator of Larry & Sons Marathon for 25 years. He was an avid Cleveland Indians fan and Cavaliers fan. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife Diane ( Nee Kopp ), children Joshua ( Amanda ) of LaGrange, Jason ( Tiffany ) of Elyria and Justin ( Jewell ) of Amherst. Survivors also include his grandchildren Jordan, Jonathan, Jonah, Josie Mae and by his brothers Dwayne ( Stephanie ), Scott and Gregory. He was preceded in death by his parents Larry & Ruby Truman. In honoring his wishes, there will be no services. Donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses. Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton is handling the arrangements.
